EQ1 Transit Switch Convertible Duffel, Carbon Black

A convertible duffel in CORDURA 1000D, the second largest piece EQ1 carries.

The fabric. It is made in genuine CORDURA at 1000 denier, the thickest yarn EQ1 uses. Denier is the yarn thickness, so a 1000D weave is built from noticeably heavier thread than the 660D nylon elsewhere in the range. It is the same family of fabric used for workwear and field kit. The finished cloth weighs 370 grams per square metre, which is the number EQ1 publishes on every bag so you can compare one against another rather than guess.

The size. It measures 54 by 30 by 28 cm, which works out to roughly 45 litres of outer volume. That figure is calculated from the outside measurements, so the usable space inside is a little less. Duffel measurements are taken along the length, so the first number is how long the bag is end to end.

The colourway is Carbon Black. One size, unisex.
